At PSO, we are a dedicated family business founded by Zuhal Polat, Yusuf Polat, and our son, Aykan Polat. With our roots in Turkey and over 30 years in the travel sector, we bring an invaluable network and expertise that allows us to offer the best prices and unmatched know-how about the country.

Our passion for racket sports is reflected in every holiday we host. We handpick all resorts, personally checking each one to ensure they meet our high standards.

We are hands-on with our holidays, hosting them mostly ourselves and ensuring our customers are well looked after. We are always available before, during, and after your holiday, providing quick responses to all enquiries and requirements.

Yusuf POLAT

I am a passionate tennis and golf enthusiast, having competed for top teams at various prestigious tennis clubs. Over the past 25 years, I’ve played with the Atik Tennis Club in Antalya, Turkey; the United Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida; the Blakeney Club in Charlotte, North Carolina; and the David Lloyd Club in Surrey.

Currently, I am holding memberships with the Turkish Tennis Federation and the British LTA.

Renowned for my speed and consistency, my expertise in the game has been honed through years of high-level competition.

As a former line umpire, I have a deep understanding of the regulations set by the International Tennis Federation. My experience includes serving as a line umpire in the 2005 WTA Tournament in Istanbul, where I was selected to officiate the final between Venus Williams and Nicole Vaidisova. Additionally, I participated as a line umpire in the 2005 Istanbul FED Cup.

From 2010 to 2012, I served as a board member of the Atik Tennis Club in Antalya, Turkey, and contributed to the Turkish Tennis Federation as a member of the senior players’ committee.

My passion for golf began at Regnum Carya Golf in Belek, Turkey, and since then, I’ve embraced every chance to play in the UK and around the globe.

Sharing a deep passion for sports and travel, my wife Zuhal and I have combined our strengths to organise sports holidays. Zuhal is a professional travel organizer with 30 years of expert knowledge and experience.

Zuhal POLAT

I am a travel professional with over 25 years of experience in the tourism industry, the result of working in the front office of the Hotel Grand Azura

With over 30 years of experience in the tourism industry, travel is more than just my profession—it’s my passion. My journey began in the front office of the Hotel Grand Azur and extended through roles with esteemed tour operators like Neckermann, Thomas Cook, and LTU, as well as a customer service role with SunExpress. This diverse background has equipped me with a deep understanding of the travel industry and a strong commitment to meeting the unique needs of our clients.

As a licensed tourist guide, I’ve honed my skills in problem-solving and multitasking while gaining extensive knowledge of Turkey’s regions. My experience as a hotel contractor and buyer for travel agencies has also allowed me to build strong relationships with hotels, enabling me to negotiate the best possible rates for our guests.

Beyond travel, tennis is a significant part of my life. Since 2001, I’ve been an active member of the Turkish Tennis Federation and the British LTA, regularly competing with teams at David Lloyd Club. I also enjoy yoga, pilates, and skiing.

Fluent in Turkish, English, and German, I’m here to assist you with all your travel needs.

Our family, including our tennis-loving son, embraces a lifestyle centred around sports, and we’re excited to share this enthusiasm with others through our specialised sporting holidays.

Aykan POLAT

“I was fortunate to have been introduced to sport at an early age”

My journey into the world of sports began at an early age, thanks to the unwavering support and influence of my parents. I’m forever grateful for Their dedication, sacrifices the logistical and financial support they provided, allowing me to explore and excel in various sports over the years.

For the past decade, tennis has been a central part of my life. I’ve trained at prestigious clubs such as Atik Tennis Club in Antalya, Turkey, United Tennis Academy in Bradenton, Florida, and GTA Guildford Tennis Academy in Surrey, UK. I am currently an active member of both the Antalya Tennis Club ATIK and David Lloyd Clubs and hold memberships with the Turkish Tennis Federation and the British LTA.

Travel has become a deeply fulfilling passion for me, thanks to the inspiration from my mum. As a business student, I’m eager to merge my academic knowledge with my love for travel and sport to contribute to our family business. I’m excited to play my part and help drive our business forward.

The time and commitment my parents invested in my sporting journey have led to countless cherished family moments. Whether it’s playing tennis, hitting the golf course, or skiing, our family bonds over these shared experiences. For us, combining travel with sports is the ultimate joy.
